ACGG offers informative publications, educational DVDs and videotapes for purchase. Most orders can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail within two weeks of receiving the order. Prices include postage, except for non-United States destinations.  We do not accept on-line orders, but you can print out an order form to mail or fax.  PDF files require Adobe Reader (free from www.adobe.com) to view.  Prices listed are for non-members.

    An Introduction to Custom Guns

  • This 105 minute VHS video tape is an educational tape to provide information on custom rifles and shotguns. Filming was done over a three year period at the annual exhibition. Beautiful photos of many fine quality custom firearms. Narrated by Jack Belk. Price is $35 including postage.
  • Specialized Gunsmithing Techniques of William J. Nittler

  • 2 hour VHS tape features stock bending, barrel regulation, and rib work. The tools and techniques shown were developed by Bill Nittler, a premier shotgun gunsmith for over 40 years. 50 page technical manual with photos and mechanical drawings included. Price is $75 including postage.
  • Seminar Videotapes

  • Taping of various seminars was done by the Guild Historian, Paul Nickels. All seminar tape orders are forwarded to Mr. Nickels. Orders for seminar tapes require additional delivery time. Tapes are $35 each including postage. 1997 Tape 2 is an additional $5 for the booklet.

    • Mr. Tucker does a 44-minute segment on proper rifle stock fitting.

    Part 2:  Shotgun Stock Fitting by Mr. Hugh P. de Pentheny O'Kelly

  • Mr. O'Kelly present a very thorough study on a sequential approach to achieving the correct fit for a client. Includes 20-page booklet.
  • Additional interviews with Paul Dressel and Bob Snapp discussing specific firearms.

    Action Tightening by Mr. Pete Mazur

  • Mr. Mazur is well known for his restoration work and as the metalsmith on the ACGG #10 firearm, a 20 ga. L.C. Smith. The seminar presented deals with the techniques of putting shotgun barrels back on the face.
  • Self Promotion by Mr. Ed Aubert

  • Mr. Aubert has been a stockmaker for several years and also has lectured professionally on the project of promoting oneself. His presentation is focused on ways to increase exposure and business in the gunsmithing trade.
