ACGG Education Foundation Wood Sales

Thanks to the generous donation of Larry and Brenda Potterfield of Midway USA, the ACGG Education Foundation has gun blank wood available to purchase. And thanks to Gordon Smith of Old Tree Gun Blanks for donating forend pieces.

  1. There are two types of stock wood available, California English Walnut and California Claro Walnut. Each type of walnut has rifle blanks and short blanks.
  2. There are forends available with the short blanks. Depending on what type of project the wood will be used for, some of the blanks are large enough for a splinter type forend. If a larger forend is required, one can be supplied for an additional $50 each.
  3. If anyone wants a more detailed look at a particular piece or pieces of wood, a close up picture can be taken and sent via E-Mail. Please contact Bruce Farman at bcfarman@earthlink.net
  4. In addition to the cost of the wood there will be a shipping fee. Shipping will be the actual charges of the carrier (UPS, USPS or Fed Ex; customer’s choice) and runs about $15 for short blanks and $20 for rifle blanks.
  5. Gunsmithing students – please contact Bruce Farman regarding a student discount.
  6. For additional information contact Bruce Farman (360) 692-4188, or E-Mail at bcfarman@earthlink.net

We have just updated the website with larger images that will make it easier for you to find the right piece of wood. If you have any questions contact Bruce Farman.
