ACGG Education Foundation

2009 Education Foundation Matching Rifles
ACGG Education Foundation Mission:
To increase learning within the custom gun field by offering scholarships and presenting educational opportunities and materials.

The American Custom Gunmakers Guild Education Foundation was formed in 2006, after several years of planning, as an affiliate effort of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild, Inc. It is a 501(c )3 nonprofit charitable educational foundation. Its efforts support new gunsmithing (in particular custom gunmaking) talent, dissemination of educational information to the custom gunmaking community, and enrichment opportunities for current custom gunsmiths.

Educational opportunities include:

  • Grant-in-aid scholarships to gunsmithing students to attend the annual seminars and exhibition of members of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild. Application for Student Grant-in-Aid. (Must be postmarked on or before Oct. 1st to qualify for consideration.)
  • Scholarships to gunsmithing students with an interest in custom work.
  • Opportunities for current gunmakers to increase their knowledge and improve their skills.

Thanks to the generous donation of Brownells, we have a limited number of one Troy ounce pure silver Medallions of the ACGG Logo in celebration of the Guild’s 25th anniversary. Proceeds benefit the ACGG Education Foundation.

Donations to the Education Foundation will be tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. We invite you to join the Benefactors’ Club.
Thanks to Pete Brownell, Brownells, Inc. for joining as an Endowment Benefactor

Due to the generous contribution of Larry and Brenda Potterfield, the Foundation has available for sale wood blanks. And thanks to Gordon Smith of Old Tree Gun Blanks for donating forend pieces.
Please view the available blanks and contact Bruce Farman for details.
